Every great architect is - necessarily - a great poet. He must be a great original interpreter of his time, his day, his age.”
— Alvar Aalto

Anna moved to London in 2009 to do a degree in Architecture. She completed her Part I & II at the Architectural Association where she honed her technical skills and developed as a critical thinker and designer. Her final project The Light Line was awarded the Open Diploma Project of the Year by Architects for Health. It focused on weaving in light therapy into the infrastructure of a city to help alleviate symptoms of seasonal depression.

After her Part II she spent two years at a small practice, leading a fit-out team as well as spearheading the BIM coordination for a new built office building. In 2020 she completed her Part III from Cambridge University and joined the 2 Trafalgar Way team at Apt.

In her spare time, Anna enjoys travelling, crossfit, and DIY projects. She visits her home country Finland frequently where she spends time with her family, picking mushrooms and exploring the archipelago by boat.
